I sold my my niece for 500,000 naira, woman arrested




A gang of deadly criminals who specialises in the stealing and kidnapping kids and selling them off at N500,000 each has been caught. 

The police in Delta state have arrested a man and woman who specialises in stealing kids and selling them off at N500,000 each in Delta state. Narrating the story, Festus Nwaomucha, whose niece was also kidnapped by two evil criminals said the suspects have confessed to the crime. The duo identified as Emmanuel Udagwu and Celestina Enebeli have been kidnapping children in Ndemili and its environ. Nwaomucha also revealed that the two criminals confessed to kidnapping about 9 children so far. On Sept 24, 2016, they kidnapped Nwaomucha's 5-year-old little niece, Glory Oyibo, right inside their compound before luck ran out on them. 

He said two kids were found in their possession, by the police in Issele-Uku, on Monday, 13th of November. After they were interrogated by the police, the two confessed to having been stealing children in the area. When they kidnap children, they transport their victims to Asaba, where a 70-year-old woman received the victims for onward movement to the East, for sales.

The elderly woman also confessed that she sold Nwaomucha's niece with another victim (a boy) for 500k, through another man in Asaba who outsmarted the police during the arrest, abandoning his taxi coloured car. The investigation is still ongoing.
