ATM machines still not paying in many parts of Nigeria

The frustration continues in many parts of Nigeria as many citizens still can not withdraw their money from ATM machines.

Meanwhile, Any Time Money (ATM) machines are supposed to be a quick way of withdrawing cash without people having to queue up in banks. But recently, the mechanism is failing in Nigeria as a result of the nation's economic recession.

Some clients also lamented that they are still not given the desired amount at the counter after waiting in long queues inside banks. This is a shame for a country like Nigeria because some experts are saying that the ongoing scarcity or hoarding of funds by banks may not only be as a result of the country's economic shortcomings but that it could also be linked to the activities of Mavrodi Mondial Moneybox (MMM) that recently froze the accounts of many investors in their scheme.
