The incident occurred on the 3 of January 2017 but the court recently confirmed the detention of a 25-year-old Nigerian refugee, Desmond Newthing who is suspected to have murdered a 76-year-old woman, Lanfranco Chiarini after having sex with her. Her corpse was found in her villa in Castel San Pietro Terme, Bologna.
According to the police, the woman was stabbed over 25 times. However, an investigation is going to ascertain the motive of the gruesome murder.
