Nigerian pirates released Ukrainian sailor

Pirates who attacked the BBC Caribbean vessel in the territorial sea of Nigeria in early February have released 8 captured sailors, seven Russian citizens and one Ukrainian among them. This was reported by TASS referring to the so-called Commissioner for Human Rights in Sevastopol.
"We have a happy occasion: sailors are already in Frankfurt (Germany), all alive and healthy, negotiations were successful, all 8 captured crew members — 7 Russians and 1 Ukrainian — have been returned," Commissioner said.
Negotiations were carried out by Briese German company, which is the owner of BBC Caribbean vessel. It is known that the ransom was agreed with pirates but the amount is not made public.
